Matt Malloy played Herb in the episode Institutional Memory. He is currently starring in Alpha House, another show set in Washington, DC, alongside John Goodman and Clark Johnson. He has also appeared in the films Hitch (with Adam Arkin), The Bounty Hunter, Election (with Holmes Osborne) and In the Company of Men.
