DragonBall: Alternate Universe (ドラゴンボールもうひとつの世界, Doragonbōru Mō Hitotsu No Sekai), commonly abbreviated as DBAU, is a fan-made series based on the hit anime show and manga Dragon Ball Z, created by Akira Toriyama. It was given the name "Alternate Universe" due to the fact that some events that happen in Toriyama's main timeline does not happen in this series. Also, the story plot of DragonBall: Alternate Universe belongs to the very creator of this series, Future Misery.
