The Spike Machine is an enemy in Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-. This machine has powerful attacks at its disposal and is aggressive. Although Costly Punch will easily take it down in no time, a combination of Flare and Assault Twister+ works well too. Be prepared to dodge at all times, as its Gungnir attack will inflict exactly 10,000 damage to the player's HP, at which point in the game they can be encountered at, the player will not be able to have more than 9,999 HP. Gungnir also ignores Vitality and Protect, essentially making it a one-hit kill.
