Escanail (エスカネイル Escanail?) is a snail enemy that appears in the second Doppler stage from Mega Man X3. If they are hit once, their shells will be destroyed, leaving a pole sticking out of its back. X can then stand on this pole and ride the Escanail up a spiked wall without taking damage.
