New Guatemala is the capital city of Guatemala and the largest in both the country and Central America. It was the location of GDI's evacuation danger zones for at least 450,000 people to be evacuated by aircraft to be safe from the firestorm. The GDI evacuation zones were from New Guatemala to coastal Chile for the Global Defense Initiative before the Second Tiberium War began between Nod and GDI.
