Lanokota of the Acoma was son of Lord Sezu and Oskiro and brother of Mara. He had flashing dark eyes and ran faster than all other warriors in their household. He also won in the summer games at Sulan-Qu three years in a row (a feat unmatched since). Lano had a ready smile for his adoring sister, even showing her how to wrestle and had always mood for stupid joke. He followed his father to the Riftwar on Midkemia, where, by treachery of the Minwanabi clan, they both perished. Their remains were never found. Mara buried his manhood robe in the sacred grove.
