Commander Keleway was a Starfleet command division officer who served as first officer to Captain James T. Kirk aboard the USS Saladin in the mid-2260s. Following the return to Earth after the completion of a deep-space exploration, Keleway questioned Kirk about his decision to beam over to the USS Enterprise before docking procedures were completed. However, Kirk told Keleway that his completion of the docking procedures would be an excellent test of his command abilities. (TOS comic: "All Those Years Ago...")
