The Haven Quadrant was the area surrounding the Haven System, located in the galactic north of the Solarian League. It was a particularly attractive region with an unusually high proportion of F, G, and K class stars. Because of that, more than half a dozen planets in the area were settled during the 13th and 14th Century PD. Eventually, the Republic of Haven conquered large portions of the Quadrant in order to sustain its faltering economy. (UHH)
