Abanak (a.k.a. "The Ghost of Booder Falls"), is Native American living in Booder Falls and the last living descendant of the tribe Samuel Booder VI’s family wiped out, the Algonquin Nation. When Raphael was demutated by Bloodsucker and later lost, Abanak found him and returned him to his brothers, whom he led to Booder's factories at the river. After Booder, the CEO of the industrial plants poisoning the river, was slain by Bloodsucker, Abanak accompanied the Turtles (after passing the mantle of "The Ghost of Booder Falls" to three children who had been earlier attacked by Bloodsucker) to the source of the river in the highlands of Vermont.
