Ben's parents were Joseph and Sarah. Joseph and Sarah met in Jackson Square, New Orleans in 2331. After Sarah left Joseph in 2333, a year after Ben was born, Joseph spent three years looking for her before eventually remarrying and having two more sons and a daughter, Judith.
