Cadre 1 was a group of Luminoth in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes who were sent to locate Sky Temple Keys and deliver them to the Sky Temple Gate, as "Keybearers". It was part of a two Cadre force, the other Cadre being Cadre 2. The group was comprised of five Luminoth warriors, including the leader of the keybearers, A-Kul, who was the only warrior to complete their mission. The entire force was wiped out. A parallel can be drawn between the two Luminoth Cadres and the "Forces" of the GFMC Task Force Herakles.
