After their liberation from the Sith the Anari Alliance sought to recreate their defensive strength. They purchased ships from Kuat Drive Yards buying older designs and used ships from the company. With the threat of the Sith Empire looming over them the Anari Commonwealth invited the Antarian Rangers into their boarders to act as a police force outside the main political body but answerable to the courts. Together the two contacted Kuat Drive Yards with the intent of creating a new aged ship for their use. Looking at the requirements Kuati engineers developed a cutting edge ship.
