The 29th presidential election of Lecrotia was held between 23 September and 28 September 2006, after Aldo Brighi's term exipred. The three runners for president were Ada Verdoni, the only woman to run for Presidential candidate, from the Democratic Party, Cataldo Nunzia, from the Conservative Party and Filippo Manfrin from the Christian Party. This is the only election where the Christians were the major party.
