Paola Pezzo (Bosco Chiesanuova, 8 January 1969) is an Italian mountain bike star. She was world champion In 1993 and 1997 mountain bike. In addition she won the Olympic title twice, in 1996 (Atlanta) and 2000 (Sydney). After a long absence associated with pregnancy and the birth of a second child, Pezzo in 2008 started mountain biking. Pezzo made earlier in 2004 even though a comeback. Pezzo earned her biggest successes with the Gary Fisher mountain bike team. Next to the mountain biking she has two bike shops in Italy.
