The Fire Release: Rasendisc is a variation of the Fire Release: Rasengan, similar to the Great Ball Rasengan being a variation of the standard Rasengan. Luke used this jutsu to defeat Kaci Wells of the Kagekenin. By manipulating the fire chakra of the Fire Release: Rasengan, Luke was able to create a large circular energy, making the Rasengan appear as a giant disc, the Rasengan in the center remaining a perfect sphere. The technique gives off a loud lion-like roar and is so strong it creates a storm around the area. Unlike other variations of Rasengan, the Rasendisc can be thrown, yet still be hand held.
