Sally Dover was the wife of Jerry Dover. When Dover was drafted into the Confederate State Army during the Second Great War, she remained behind in Augusta, Georgia and raised their son, Jethro, and a daughter. Sally was unaware that at one point, Jerry had an affair with a woman from Savannah named Melanie Leigh.
