Ingwer (Jens) Matzen (22 October 1914 in Morsum, district of Niebüll – 29 February 1980 in Flensburg) was a German Schnellboot commander in World War II and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. In 1955 he joined the post-war German Navy where he held the positions of the first Commander 1. Fast Patrol Boat Squadron (1956 - 1958) and Commander Fast Patrol Boat Command (1964 - 1968). Thus he contributed to rebuilding the German Schnellboot force. Finally, he served as Inspizient der Marinewaffen (Inspector of naval armaments) in the Marineamt. He retired as a captain.
