The basic Foot Soldiers are ninja that are always under the command of the Shredder. In this incarnation, the ninja are human, just like they are in the original comics and in the 2003 TV series. The masks appear to have bug-like eyes and have the Foot Clan logo on it (similar to the outfits worn by the Foot Ninja from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles films). These soldiers are armed with staffs, shurikens, ninjaken, naginata, nunchaku and tonfa. The Foot Soldier recruits are trained at Chris Bradford's Dojos. On the streets, these taciturn warriors are often commanded by Dogpound, Fishface, and Karai. Despite having good training and effectively being able to use their weapons, these ninja, though initially a challenge, are now easily defeated by the Turtles whom they are always hunting.
