Signature series instruments are produced by Hoshino Gakki for a particular artist. They are generally designed in cooperation with or to the specs of an Ibanez-affiliated artist. Sometimes an artist will have just one or two models, but some artists such as Steve Vai or Joe Satriani have an entire range.
