The Imperial Army Special Operations Command (ARSOCOM or ARSOC) was a subordinate component of the Imperial Special Operations Command, responsible for all special operations forces contributed by the Imperial Army to the Special Operations Command. Its senior commander, the "Commander-in-Chief, Army Special Operations Command", was a Surface Marshal of the Imperial Army, the second-highest achievable rank in the Imperial military. The Army Special Operations Command was based on the Galactic Republic Special Operations Command, the clone commando brigade of the Clone Wars.
