The Gosei Angels (護星天使, Gosei Tenshi) is a branch of humanity unknown to the rest of the world. They train to become warriors known as the Goseigers. Their mission is to protect the Earth. 10,000 years ago, Gosei Angels first fought the Yuumajuu which resulted in the sealing of the Yuumajuu in the Erurei Box. During this battle, the Groundion Headder was damaged and sealed away in a glacier. These angels also sealed away the rowdy Abare Headder.
