The Yamato was built to mk II specifications and entered service on reference stardate 1/9903. She was later refit to mk III specifications on stardate 2/0311. (FASA RPG module: Federation Ship Recognition Manual) Yamato was refit for the last time, to become a mk I Enterprise-subclass in that same year, following that engagement, sometime between stardates 2/1705 and 2/1711.
