During the Clone Wars, this office was held by Armand Isard who also held the position of Director of the Senate Bureau of Intelligence. Along with the Republic's other intelligence services, Republic intelligence was reorganized into Imperial Intelligence with the reorganization of the Republic into the Galactic Empire in 19 BBY.
