To remove mildew stains from the bathroom, wood, cloth and leather here are some tips. I think that for clothes there are two types of stains which wont come out with anything. Sadly mildew is one of them, the other one is rust. They suggest lemon juice and salt for that. To remove blood stains, use hydrogen peroxide when the fabric is dry (it wont work if the fabric is wet). I've had many beautiful clothes ruined to mildew. I know the feeling. Bleach can only do but so much, honestly. I haven't tested those tips myself and will probably attempt to do it if the opportunity shows.
