Ralph Casson appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly in July 2000 as Mr Bellis, who interviewed Spider Nugent for a position as a DSS Claimant Officer; and he returned to the programme in March 2004 as a Paramedic who attended an unconscious Nick Tilsley, overcome by smoke fumes following a fire that Janice Battersby had unwittingly started in Underworld's disused storeroom.
