The Swinging Richards were an American rock band formed in 1983 in Atlanta, Georgia, consisting of Chris Edmonds, Bruce Smith, Victor Varnedoe, Billy Pitts and Hoddy Ridarick (later member). The band were a support act for Duran Duran in 1984.
