Mempa VIII was a planet, the eighth planet in the Mempa star system. Mempa VIII was located in the Mempa sector of the Klingon Empire, and was home to a Klingon population. The Kingral Hills were a location on Mempa VIII that were known to Bekk Jurva as a rural, backward area with rather tiresome citizens. (ST novella: The Unhappy Ones) Kl'rt was born and raised on Mempa VIII, where he wrestled professionally before being expelled due to suspicion of taking performance-enhancing drugs.
