Darth Maeve, previously known as Nasha Sunrider, was a Jedi Amazon from Coruscant who was sold to Lord Revan by Keith Carrick, the Emperor's Hand. By that time she was working on the defenses of Dantooine beside Senator Tyrus. She caught Carrick, but at the moment of his transportation, his soldiers attacked the republican ones and they were defeated what made Nasha, Keith's prisoner. They had a lightsaber duel, but Carrick could hit her in the shoulder. That gave her some time on a bacta tank, inside the Steel Bat, Carrick's ship.
