Tentacles are monsters fought on the island with overgrown remnants, which gives a mysterious herb when defeated. Their damage and health is scaled according to the player. Should a tentacle spawn on top of a seed pod, the pod will be destroyed, leaving the root that is targeting it incapable of being nurtured. This results in players having to nurture another root instead.
