The Race::1991 Nationwise 300 was an ASA ACDelco Challenge Series event held at Track::Columbus Motor Speedway on April 28, 1991. It was the season opener. Making his 56th career start, Glenn Allen, Jr. finally walked away with his elusive first victory, recovering from a mid-race spin to hold off Tony Raines at the checkered. Raines' car was disqualified in post-race inspection due to an engine issue.
