Kingsgate is an area of the Scottish New Town, East Kilbride, in South Lanarkshire. The Kingsgate Retail Park is a relatively modern development at the northern extreme of the town, first opened in 1995. It grew in popularity when parking charges were introduced for car parks at the town centre. A second phase of development is currently underway with additional retail space being constructed to the south of the existing retail park.
