Robert Darren "Rob" Donovan is the younger brother of Carla Connor who spent time in Strangeways Jail before returning into her life in 2012. He managed Barlow's Buys alongside girlfriend Tracy Barlow. He also acted as a temporary manager of Underworld along with Michelle Connor for a period from July to December 2012 when Carla left Weatherfield with Peter Barlow. In 2017 Rob broke out of prison and was hidden away with the help of Tracy.
