Arantulas are enemies featured in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. They have a target like symbol on their backs. Arantulas are much more powerful versions of Piders. These spiders are located in some of the lowest levels of the Pit of 100 Trials, levels 81 through 89. Arantulas are capable of dealing massive amounts of damage a turn that can add up to 21 from a single attack turn. These creatures also have much more health points,16, making Arantulas in the top five of most powerful non-boss enemies in the game. Stats aside, Arantulas are overall very much like Piders in battle.
