There are four fundamental forces in nature. These four forces are called the gravitational force, the electromagnetic force, the weak nuclear force, and the strong nuclear force. The strong nuclear force is also called the strong force, and it is the strongest out each of the four fundamental forces in nature. Though it is the strongest force, it is essential to understand that the strong nuclear force is only effective in very small ranges. (hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hbase/forces/imgfor/funfor1.gif)
