The PIAA ruled in October 2010 that B.J. Lipke is eligible to play basketball in the winter 2010-11 at Lincoln Park. He played football at Cornell in the fall of 2010. Confused? Well, Lincoln Park is a charter school. Under PIAA rules, any student who attends a charter school that has a school building (not a cyber school online) can play sports at his home district if the charter school doesn't offer that particular sport. Lincoln Park doesn't have a football team and Lipke resides in the Cornell School District.
