Prior to joining Cornell, Slebodnik competed for the Cushing Academy. Slebodnick was a two-time winner of the team’s Defensive Award at Cushing. In addition, she was team captain. As a junior, she was awarded the team’s sportsmanship award. In the summer of 2010, she was selected to attend the Warren Strelow National Team Goaltending Camp as one of the top United States goaltenders eligible for international play.
