The Kingdom of Prussia is a small nation located in north-central Europe, bordering Poland to the east, Austria to the south, and Rhineland to the west. The Kingdom has long been subordinate to Austria, and then later to Rhineland. In recent years, however, it has found a greater degree of equality in its relations with its neighbors. During this time, the trends set in motion by the Great Elector reached their culmination, as the Junkers, the landed aristocracy, were welded to the Prussian Army.
