Empreyakana is a pink flying wyvern that inhabits jungle environments. It is usually seen with its mate, Emperidus. Empreyakana is comparable to Rathian, as they are both female flying wyverns. Unlike her male counterpart, who rushes in violently, she is careful and observant when it comes to hunting or fighting. Empreyakana is first introduced in Monster Hunter: Wyvern Instincts.
