The Battle of Delgon-R was an engagement fought between Federation forces and the Klingon Empire that took place in April of 2253 during the Four Years War. This was the first recorded instance of the gravitic mine being used in combat. Several Achernar-class and Tikopai-class starships were damaged or destroyed during the battle.
