Due to fractal degeneration that occurred whenever their bodies did not receive pink sunlight from their star, the Valuerta sat in these for upwards of a standard hour per standard day. They were considered especially useful when a Valuerta left their system where there was no pink star. However, if a Valuerta missed just one day without their rejuvenator, they would begin fractal degeneration that next day.
