Braun was later suspected to be the Yeti, a telepathic abnormal, and subsequently placed in isolation in order to protect the remaining survivors. It was later discovered that illusions manifested by the Yeti caused an enixplicable confusion amongst the survivors; in fact Braun had been innocent the entire time. His body was later found, killed by the real Yeti, who had hidden among the survivors.
