Wright Field was an United States Army Air Corps base in the United States, in the mid-20th century. Glamorous Glennis was assigned to the Air Defense Command Flight Test Division at the base. (Star Trek: Enterprise) The name of the airfield can be seen printed on the side of the plane, which is seen in the opening credits. According to the Star Trek Encyclopedia (4th ed., vol. 1, p. 325) , Hangar 18, where a majority of the events in the 20th century in "Little Green Men" took place, was located at this base.
