Giant carnivorous reptiles that live in colonies and are native to the Maakenmire and other hot damp fetid environments. Kwaraz are highly susceptible to psychic attack. They have large oval red eyes, large powerful jaws capable of biting a man in half, a scaled long horned tail and a ridge of barbed scales along the spine. Kwaraz also have long curved claws enabling them to grip stone. They can give a low growl and are capable of swimming. They are not normally ferocious, unless provoked or frightened or very hungry. An aggressive display is when ears are raised to show the brightly colored interiors. They are very susceptible to psychic abilities; Mindblast is particularly effective against them.
