Searing Orbs is a Geneforge 1 specific spell. This spell is the highest Battle Magic spell of the game. It fires, at the most, three magical orbs; one on the target, the other two on surrounding targets. This spell's name was changed to Essence Orbs in Geneforge 2 and has stayed ever since. Searing Orbs is the standard spell for all high-leveled mages. The item Spray Crystal has the exact same effect but is thrown.
