The abandoned Rakata machine chamber was one of the ice caverns that made up the Tomb on the planet Belsavis. Located in the southwestern corner of the Tomb, it drew its name from the large Rakatan machine that lay, partially damaged, in the center of the chamber. The Automated Checkpoint, manned by still-functioning Rakatan droids, was located in the chamber, as were several vaults—the power relay vault, a chamber used by the Esh-kha for interrogation, and another chamber used as barracks for their warriors. A transporter was located in a small cave off the main cavern.
