Grandmother Happy is the sensible grandmother in "Hunt for Happiness", a Sesame Street spoof of soap operas. She has limited patience for the melodramatic panic of her grandchildren, Helen Happy and Harold Happy. The character appeared periodically in books, and similar Fat Blue grandmothers cropped up in other sketches or appearances (such as a cameo in The Muppets Take Manhattan).
