The Pilus are a race of very tiny humanoids that are even smaller than Smurfs who appeared in the comic book story "The Smurfs And The Pilus". This diminutive race resides on the isle of Pilulit within caves built into rocks (which to them seem like mountains) and they primarily live off of seeds. They speak in a rather primitive manner; often switching the order of their words. Their females are referred to as Pilis and they are governed by the Elected Pilus, who are the male leaders of their people. They have a traditional dance which they refer to as the Pili-Pilu.
