The Galactic Imperium, also called the Sith Imperium, New Galactic Empire, and New Sith Empire, was a government established by Empress Allya Pallopides in 167 ABY, though it was really by order of the One Sith Remnant. Sometime after 138 ABY, the Fel dynasty was overthrown in a coup and the Fels were replaced by Allya Pallopides and her family, who were descendants of Ederlathh Pallopides, a niece of Palpatine. The Empress had the Empire exit the Galactic Federation Triumvirate, which prompted the remainder of it to reform into the Third Republic.
