Draker was one of the Pineshadows, and the Chief Guard for Lord Valkarano. It was his duty to catch any "trespassers" and bring them for trial before Valkarano (which usually resulted in execution). The Pineshadow leader instructed Draker to take a large group of Pineshadows and attack Longbrush Glen to find and bring back Spruce Longbrush. The martens attacked, and Draker went into a fight to the death with Spruce. Finally, after a long, brutal battle, Spruce slew Draker by stabbing the pine marten in the back of the head with his own dagger. Draker was succeeded as Chief Guard by Zenka.
