A procession of the wealthy makes its way up the nave of the cathedral in Linz. It stops at the altar, where Nicholas de Brabant is married to Alyssa von Linz by the bishop himself. It is a fairy-tale wedding. Bride and groom are both dressed entirely in white, like sugar figures off a wedding cake. The groom has the tight hose, and padded breeches and sleeves of the period, with a ruff around his neck; the bride wears a long hooded velvet cloak trimmed with fur. The pair are clearly in love, and happy with the match.
